Hello and welcome to my site! My name is Elena, or Алёна. I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. There is so much beauty in the world, and it brings me immense joy to portray and share it with you.
I have always been fascinated by the old masters. Having been born in Moscow, I was taught to enjoy the masterpieces at the Tretyakov Gallery from an early age, and this fascination continued after coming to the United States with many visits to the Met. My continuous learning journey and curiosity about painting brought me to Grand Central Atelier to study traditional painting tecniques. I am currently a student there.
While I have spent several years away from art, this only further ignited my passion for it. I am currently working on developing my skills and discovering the many facets of creating. Still lifes? Portraits? Figures? Plein air landscapes? The world is full of endless possibilities, and I invite you to join me in celebrating the beauty around us.
